Five years ago, I watched a brilliant entrepreneur lose his business — not to competition or cash flow, but to a wrongful termination lawsuit he never saw coming. His employment contracts? Downloaded from the internet. His termination procedure? "Fair" by common sense, illegal under Kenyan Labour Law. Six months later, his business was gone.

That's when I founded Everybit.
